Gautier Mullet & Music FestivalThe 35th Annual Gautier Mullet & Music Fest is set to take place on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at the Old Singing River Mall site. This beloved community event is returning with live music, delicious food, unique vendors, and family-friendly fun. Arts and crafts vendor applications are now being accepted. Local artisans and makers interested in showcasing their work can request an application by messaging the Gautier Mullet & Music Fest Facebook page or emailing gautiermulletmusicfest@gmail.com. To stay up to date with all festival news, visit the newly launched website at www.GautierMulletFestival.com. The site will serve as the central hub for vendor signups, event schedules, contest entry forms, and the latest updates and photos. Organizers are adding new content daily, so visitors are encouraged to check back often. An official art contest is also underway. Artists are invited to submit original work under the theme “Celebrating Nature’s Playground” for a chance to win a $300 cash prize, a free vendor booth at the festival, and have their design featured on this year’s official Mullet & Music Fest t-shirt. The deadline to submit artwork is Tuesday, September 8, and the winner will be announced on Wednesday, September 10. Submissions can be dropped off at Antonio’s Pizzeria or emailed to gautiermulletmusicfest@gmail.com. Whether you're a food vendor, craft artist, car show enthusiast, or simply planning a weekend of fun, the Gautier Mullet & Music Fest is an event you won’t want to miss.

Project Update: Dolphin Drive Railroad Grade SeparationThe City of Gautier is moving forward with the design phase of the Dolphin Drive Railroad Grade Separation Project — a long-awaited solution to one of the city’s most persistent safety and traffic concerns. Residents and first responders have long voiced frustrations over frequent delays caused by train crossings on Dolphin Drive. In early 2025, the City was awarded funding to begin designing a grade-separated overpass, which would allow vehicles to pass safely and continuously over the railroad tracks. The City is currently reviewing engineering proposals, and the Gautier City Council is expected to select a firm this September. Once the design is complete, the City will be eligible to pursue funding for the construction phase.
