Message from Mayor Vaughan: Bringing in the new year

As we welcome the New Year, I want to take a moment to reflect on our achievements and express my gratitude for the incredible community we have in Gautier. This past year has brought growth, collaboration, and progress, and I’m excited about the opportunities that lie ahead.

In 2025, we will continue working together to make Gautier an even better place to live, work, and thrive. Thank you for your support and dedication to our city. Let’s make this year our best yet—Happy New Year, Gautier!

Martin Bluff Road Widening Project Update

Progress continues on the Martin Bluff Road Widening Project! The first lift of pavement has been completed on the north side of the roadway, and drainage work on that side is substantially finished, pending curb, gutter, and sidewalk construction.

Sidewalk construction is expected to begin soon, with curb and gutter installation to follow. Once these elements are in place, along with additional paving, traffic will be switched to the newly completed north side of the road. This traffic switch is anticipated to take place in the next month.

Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to the commit to the completion of this project.
